Our Plan… We believe that a plan for our family creates great unity for both the parents and the child. We plan to provide a child with the best possible education, and we’re fortunate to have the financial means to do this.
We plan is to invest the time and financial resources on activities outside of school as well. We feel that by helping a child develop their talents both in and out of school that this will bring out the greatest beauty in both our child and ourselves. We have flexible job schedules, and we look forward to parenting a child without using daycare. We plan to have our work hours arranged so that at least one of us is always with the child, either at home or taking them to their soccer game or ballet class.
We believe that the most precious thing parents can give a child is their time, and it is the memories of those times that last much longer than the latest toy. We believe that love and a sense of responsibility are the foundations of family relationships.
Our Catholic faith is very important to us. We’re both active with our local church and our friends there have become like an extended family to us. Our church family is very supportive in our journey to adoption and is ready to welcome a new member! We would teach a child that God loves them and has a plan for everyone, and make sure they are raised with faith and values.
Our Family
is a very important part of our lives. Martha’s mom and sister live within a couple of miles of us, as well as our niece and nephew. Walter’s mom lives in Colorado and both she and Martha’s mom are both very excited about becoming a grandmas once again. Our families are very excited about our adoption plans and look forward to loving a new addition to our family.
Our Home seems to attract family and friends, and often there is something on the BBQ and music is playing – we’re pretty social people and are blessed to have many different friends from all walks of life. Celebrating life events such as birthdays and holidays are very important to us and we enjoy making them special. We also enjoy spending time with our dogs, Scooby and Mickey - they are as anxious to give love to a child as we are.
